IBCA Clinic information: virtual clinic in 2020 and in-person in 2021

New speakers added to 2020 Virtual Clinic, not too late to register for it

As most of you know, the 2020 IBCA Clinic was changed to a Virtual Clinic because of the COVID-19 pandemic. At one time, there were plans to hold a belated Mini-Clinic in person in September 2020. However, that in-person clinic also was canceled.

In place of the Mini-Clinic, the IBCA has added more speakers to the 2020 Virtual Clinic content. If you registered for the 2020 Clinic, you now have access to presentations from these additional speakers – Matt Painter of Purdue University, Archie Miller of Indiana University, Mike Brey of the University of Notre Dame, LaVall Jordan of Butler University and Greg Lansing of Indiana State University.

If you have not registered for the 2020 Virtual Clinic, it is not too late. If you register online between now and Dec. 1, 2020, you will have access to more than 35 presentations – the new ones listed above, plus all those posted there during May, June and July.

Looking ahead: 2021 IBCA Clinic dates set

We are planning for an in-person IBCA Clinic for 2021. Here is key information about the 2021 Clinic that is available now.

Unfortunately, the 2020 in-person IBCA Clinic had to be canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Still, the IBCA put together a Virtual Clinic in 2020 with more than 30 video presentations for those who registered for the online clinic. About 900 coaches were in attendance at the 2019 IBCA in-person clinic. The presentations there were entertaining and informative.

The IBCA’s plan is to return to the return to the traditional in-person clinic for 2021, where there are live presentations along with numerous vendors displaying their products and services as well as an opportunity for fellowship among those coaches who attend.

For the 2021 clinic, hotel choices are:

The online registration form for 2021 IBCA in-person Clinic should be available by mid-October 2020. A full agenda for the 2021 IBCA in-person Clinic should be available in March 2021.
