50th year of Hoosier Basketball Magazine

This fall Hoosier Basketball Magazine will publish its 50th annual issue.

As usual, this 288-page publication will be a comprehensive survey of all high school basketball in Indiana (both boys and girls). All men’s and women’s college teams plus the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever also will be included.

Long-time publisher Garry Donna frequently referred to reaching the 50 th anniversary of Hoosier Basketball Magazine, a publication that Donna purchased in 1970. His passing in 2017 prevents him from seeing the upcoming issue, but 50 years of Hoosier Basketball Magazine is quite an accomplishment.

Kip Wesner became the publisher of Hoosier Basketball Magazine in September 2017, and he is set to publish a commemorative cover to recognize the 50-year history of the annual publication. Of note, the magazine’s 2017-2018 issue included a nostalgia edition with Donna’s photo on the cover and a two-page layout honoring and remembering Garry with many quotes. That issue still is available for purchase at http://www.hoosierbasketballmagazine.com/.
