45th year of Hoosier Basketball Magazine

This fall Hoosier Basketball Magazine will publish its 45th annual issue. As usual, this 296-page publication will be a comprehensive survey of all high school basketball in Indiana (both boys and girls). All men’s and women’s college teams, plus the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever, also will be included.

Publisher Garry Donna reports that five outstanding senior high school players will be featured on the center of the 2014-2015 front cover of Hoosier Basketball Magazine. They are Caleb Swanigan (Homestead), Ryan Cline (Carmel), Hyron Edwards (East Chicago Central), Ali Patberg (Columbus North) and Dominique McBryde (Bedford North Lawrence).

Other high school senior boys to be pictured on the front cover include Ryan Fazekas (Marquette Catholic), Brennan Gillis (Ben Davis), Drew Hackett (Munster), Matt Holba (Guerin Catholic), Bronson Kessinger (Corydon Central), Josh Speidel (Columbus North), K.J. Walton (Brownsburg) and Ryan Welage (Greensburg).

High school senior girls to appear on the cover are Jenna Allen (Bedford North Lawrence), Alexa Bailey (Bedford North Lawrence), Lamina Cooper (Lawrence North), Victoria Gaines (Merrillville), Darby Maggard (Fort Wayne Canterbury), Nakeya Penny (Logansport), Tori Schickel (Evansville Mater Dei) and Brittany Ward (Pike).

Three college standout players — Yogi Ferrell (Indiana), A.J. Hammons (Purdue) and Liza Clemons (Purdue) — also will be featured on the cover. So will Indiana Pacers forward David West and Indiana Fever player Shavonte Zellous.
