Hoosier Basketball Magazine Hosts Boys & Girls Top 40 Workout

Forty of Indiana’s best 2006-2007 senior boys’, as well as 40 of Indiana’s best senior girls’, high school players will be invited to participate in Hoosier Basketball’s 2007 Top 40 Workouts. Ten alternates will also be invited to participate in each work out.

The 26th annual Girls’ Top 40 Workout will be at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis on April 15, 2007.

The 20th annual Boys’ Top 40 Workout will take place at Pike High School in Indianapolis on Sunday, April 29.

Both Top 40 Workouts will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will include two sessions – 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 3:30-5:30 p.m.

The two workouts are coordinated by Hoosier Basketball publisher Garry Donna. Mike Armstrong of Perry Meridian and Jodie Whitaker of Lawrence North will serve as on-court directors of the 2007 Girls’ Top 40 Workout, assisted by IBCA-member coaches representing all of Indiana. Brebeuf Jesuit coach Leo Klemm, assisted by IBCA-member coaches, will be the Boys’ Top 40 on-court director.

These workouts give the state’s outstanding seniors a chance to meet and compete as well as afford college coaches an opportuinity to observe them against top quality competition.
