2012-2013 Coaching Changes
From the end of last season through late September, 167 people have been hired as new varsity basketball coaches in Indiana high schools -- 79 to boys basketball positions and 88 to girls basketball positions -- for the 2012-13 season.
The number of changes is greater than the 2011 off-season, but the total is well short of the 188 changes made in the spring and summer of 2007.
According to data compiled by HickoryHusker.com, here are the number of changes for the 13 years prior to the 2012 offseason: 2011 - 154; 2010 - 162; 2009 - 146; 2008 - 148; 2007 - 188; 2006 - 152; 2005 - 146; 2004 - 147; 2003 - 141; 2002 - 135; 2001 - 139; 2000 - 125; 1999 - 129; 1998 - 133.
