From The Coaches' Box

Welcome back! We hope your off season was productive and you were able to do the things you wanted. A new season always brings high hopes and expectations. Your IBCA also has high hopes and expectations, and we will work hard to represent you and promote Indiana High School Basketball.

We need your help to continue being one of the top coaches’ organizations in the country. We want to continue our traditions while growing and evolving.

Please take care of your membership. Membership runs from October to October each year. We would like to see 100% membership from our head coaches. Your membership not only benefits you as a coach, but it also benefits your athletes. Please go to the IBCA website and check out the more than twenty benefits of being a member.

With this being the 100th year of Indiana High School Basketball, 100% membership from our head coaches would be great. Head coaches are also responsible for signing up members from their staff.

Speaking of the 100th year of basketball, we have some plans to celebrate. Stay tuned for more on this. Also, continue to support our Coaches vs. Cancer program. This has been a huge success in the past and we want to continue our part to defeat this disease.

Do your best to support our corporate partners. They have some great products and do a wonderful job of supporting our organization.

Finally, we all like to win games. But why are we really coaching? We, as coaches, have been handed a tremendous responsibility to help our players grow. We need to take that responsibility very seriously while we are helping to mold these young people into model citizens through the game of basketball.
