Marty JohnsonCoach: As the Head Coach of your program, it is your responsibility to make sure your assistant coaches and feeder-system coaches are registered to be IBCA members. The IBCA provides a number of opportunities for your program. Those include:

  • Player of the Week
  • Team of the Week
  • Individual Academic All-State
  • Team Academic Award (new this year)
  • All-State honors
  • Individual Top 100 Underclass Showcase events
  • Summer Team Showcase events
  • Mentor Program for new head coaches
  • Aspiring Head Coach program (new this year)
  • IBCA Scholarships (Crawley, Mannies, Aikman, Witty)
  • Indiana All-Star events
    • Futures Games
    • Junior All-Stars vs. Seniors and Kentucky
    • Seniors vs. Juniors and Kentucky
    • the All-Star Shootout team developmental events

Make sure you are taking advantage of everything that is available for your athletes. Coach, what you do is more valuable today than perhaps any time in our history.

Have a great season, and don’t hesitate to contact me if I ever can be of assistance.
