I would hope by now everyone has gotten the school year off to a good start and are busy preparing for the up-coming season. As our coaches association continues to grow we appreciate your support. If you have suggestions that can help your coaches association better meet your needs, feel free to make your suggestions known by utilizing the coaches suggestion box on the IBCA web site. Starting this season because of the suggestion from one of our member coaches, can now post or browse information related to schools that are looking for teams and dates for pre season scrimmages. Go to the coach’s bulletin board for more info.
Watch your mail in January for the nomination information for the following:
- Underclassmen & Senior All State Teams
- Top 100 Underclassmen boys and Girls Showcases
- Junior All Stars
- Indiana All Stars
- Academic All State
- Junior Mannies & Marion Crawley Scholarships
Also during January ballots for District Coaches of the Year and District Representatives election ballots will be mailed. Check your mail carefully, complete the nomination forms, follow the instructions, meet the deadlines and return your nominations forms to the appropriate committees. Don’t hurt a deserving candidate’s chances for selection because you forgot to join the IBCA, or the nomination letter got buried on your desk and you didn’t get the information to the committee on time. Your effort in fulfilling these professional responsibilities is appreciated.
