2021 IBCA Clinic to be virtual and in-person

Click here to go to the online form to register for the 2021 IBCA Clinic.

The 2021 IBCA Clinic will be in two parts this year because of the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Part 1 of the clinic will be a virtual clinic offered in late April – shooting for an April 23 date to go “live” – with video presentations from the 2021 IBCA Coaches of the Year.

These video offerings will be presented by six boys coaches (Chris Johnson of Homestead, Chad Johnston of South Bend Adams, Jeff Moore of Sullivan, Ryan Osborn of Carmel, Andy Weaver of Plainfield and Josh Thompson of Barr-Reeve) as well as six girls coaches (Donna Buckley of Noblesville, Mark Redding of Carroll-Fort Wayne, Jared Rehmel of Linton-Stockton, Scott Schoen of Silver Creek, Chris Seibert of Crown Point and Debbie Smiley of Brownsburg).

The in-person portion of the clinic is set for Saturday, Oct. 16 at Lawrence North High School in Indianapolis. The program that day will include a Round-Table Discussion (planned to feature Charles Mair, Dave Nicholson and Virgil Sweet), an IBCA Issues & Answers session, the IBCA Awards Program and three featured speakers. The list of featured speakers will be announced later.

The Awards Program in October will be people who were to be recognized in 2020 as well as honorees for 2021.

You are encouraged to register for the 2021 Clinic now, as doing so will give you access to the 12 virtual presentations in April plus admission to the in-person session in October.

Cost to attend the clinic is $50 for current-year IBCA members and $100 for non-members.

More information about the 2021 IBCA Coaches of the Year and the Round-Table Speakers can be found elsewhere in this e-Newsletter.
