Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the loss of revenue due to canceled events and the loss of corporate partnership cash, it has become necessary to raise IBCA membership dues to $35 per coach for the membership year. This increase also covers the increase in liability insurance premiums. Each active high school, junior high and elementary member coach’s liability insurance coverage is $2 million.
The membership fee is $35 per coach at this time. Beginning Jan. 1, 2021, the membership fee is $45 per coach. The $35 fee is a discounted fee from now through Dec. 31, 2020.
As a reminder, the IBCA membership year runs from Aug. 1-July 31 each year. If you joined last season, that membership expired on July 31, 2020. The current-year membership began on Aug. 1, 2020, and runs through July 31, 2021.
