Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame report

Although the 2019-20 school year has just begun, the sound of basketballs bouncing in the gyms all across Indiana already has started with the IHSAA’s new Limited Contact workout sessions. As an IBCA member, we are asking for your support by becoming an annual member of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame for 2019.

Basketball has played a very important role in the lives of many Hoosiers, and INDIANA was the first state to have a facility dedicated strictly to high school basketball – the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. Our annual membership program allows individuals to be part of the team that sustains our museum as one of the finest basketball museums in the world.

From the “Coach Wooden locker room talk” to the “Hoosier Hardwood Photo exhibit,” each year we receive praise from our visitors – from Indiana and beyond – drawing comparisons to or praise greater than the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame in Massachusetts. Funds from our annual membership program allow us to continue to provide those memorable museum experiences.

In the past year we were able to replace several display monitors throughout the museum, add additional staff, plan a new HOF web site to launch in late fall and granted $7,000 in college scholarships to Indiana high school basketball players (set to grow to $19,000 in scholarships annually by 2022).

We want to continue to grow the Hall of Fame’s mission of preserving and promoting the best of Indiana high school basketball, upgrade and add new exhibits, and continue to enhance the overall museum experience and Hall of Fame programming, but we cannot accomplish these things without you on our team as a 2020 annual member.

Please consider making a tax deductible gift online at www.hoopshall.com/main/membership. Be sure to check the benefits listed on the membership form. Thank you for your continued support and commitment to the Hall.

We hope you will join us as we continue to celebrate the history, tradition, and memories of basketball in our state, while educating and cultivating the next generation of Indiana Basketball fans.

Regards on behalf of the Membership Committee,

Roger Schroder, Chairman
Mark Baltz, Executive Vice President
Steve Witty, IBCA Executive Director
