From the beginning of last season through September 2015, 164 people have been hired as new varsity basketball coaches in Indiana high schools -- 65 to boys’ basketball positions and 99 to girls’ basketball positions -- for the 2015-16 season.
The number of changes is the fourth most turnover in the past 18 years. In the spring and summer of 2014, there were a record 197 changes made.
