This fall Hoosier Basketball Magazine will publish its 2010-2011 issue, its 41st year of publication. It has a target publication date of mid-November 2010 and should be available before Thanksgiving.
Publisher Garry Donna reports that three outstanding senior high school players will be featured front and center on the magazine's 2010-2011 front cover. They are Cody Zeller (Washington), Branden Dawson (Gary Wallace) and Bria Goss (Ben Davis).
Other high school senior boys to appear on the cover include Mike Chandler (Lawrence North), Joe Crisman (Munster), Darwin Davis (Bloomington South), Austin Etherington (Hamilton Heights), Nic Moore (Warsaw), Austin Richie (Lowell) and Marquis Teague (Pike).
High school senior girls to appear on the cover are Jessica Carr (Hamilton Heights), Kaila Hulls (Bloomington South), Shelbie Justice (Rushville), Mallory Ladd (Evansville Memorial), Courtney Larson (Columbus North), Jama Sharp (Mooresville), Liz Stratman (Heritage Christian) and Torrie Thornton (Carmel).
Butler forward Matt Howard from the NCAA runner-up Bulldogs also will be featured on the cover with two other in-state college standouts — Maurice Creek (Indiana) and Robbie Hummel (Purdue). Also featured will be Danny Granger of the Indiana Pacers and Katie Douglas of the Indiana Fever.
As usual, this 304-page publication will be a comprehensive survey of all high school basketball in Indiana (both boys and girls). All men's and women’s college teams plus the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever also will be included. A complete schedule section again will be included for high school boys' and girls' teams, men's and women's college teams and the NBA Indiana Pacers -- more than 850 schedules in all.
