Seventh Annual IHSAA/IBCA Top 100 Showcases At Ben Davis High School A Hugh Success

Some of the Top Underclassmen talent in the state participated in the seventh annual boys' and girls' showcases. The IBCA would like to thank the IHSAA, New Balance, McDonald's, Gatorade, Shirts & Things, Champions Academy and all the high school coaches for their support in making these showcase events successful.

New NCAA legislation eliminates the month of April as an evaluation period for Division I coaches. As a result this past year the D1 coaches were not allowed to attend the boys' showcase event. There is a possibility this legislation may be reversed next year, but until this issue is resolved the IBCA has decided to move the boys' event to July 12, 2010, when D1 coaches are permitted to attend. See the attachment of pictures from the 2009 showcases and be watching for the 2010 timeline for the nomination and selection of participants for the eighth annual showcase events.
