Sean Miller

Head Coach, Xavier University

Sean MillerSean probably has more job security than anyone currently. He recently signed a contract that runs through 2016. And why not! He's been head coach, associate or assistant for 12 teams that have advanced to post season play in his first 15 years! Sean came to Xavier after coaching stops at North Carolina State, his alma mater Pittsburgh '92, Miami (OH), and Wisconsin. In his first three years as Xavier’s head man, he's averaged 21 wins per season. He was Thad Matta’s right hand man for three years with the Musketeers when they had three consecutive 26 win seasons. His 2007 team finished 25-9, won the Atlantic 10 championship and earned Xavier's second straight NCAA bid. As of late February, Miller's 2007-08 team was rated 10th in the nation with a 24-4 record. The team already has assured itself of an Atlantic 10 championship.


Greg Tonagel

Head Coach, Indiana Wesleyan University

Greg TonagelIn two short years, former Laporte H.S. and Valparaiso University star Greg Tonagel has led Wesleyan’s Wildcats to a conference runner-up spot in his first season and an “Elite 8” finish in last year’s NAIA national tournament with a 30-5 record. As one of the nation’s youngest head coaches, he has a 47-19 record. Prior to his current position, Tonagel served as the director of basketball operations at Valparaiso University. In high school he let LaPorte to the last single class state finals in 1997 and was an Indiana All-Star.


Felisha Legette-Jack

Head Coach, Indiana University

Felisha Legette-JackCoach Legette-Jack is a graduate of Syracuse University where, during her basketball career, she scored 1526 points and became the all time leading rebounder in school history. She was Big East Rookie of the year in 1985 and is an inductee into the Greater Syracuse Hall of Fame, The Syracuse Urban League Hall of Fame and the Syracuse University Orange Plus Hall of Fame. Coach Legette-Jack was one of 15 players named to the Big East Conference Silver Anniversary Team on 2004.

She began here coaching career at the high school level in Syracuse before joining the college ranks as an assistant at Boston College, Syracuse and Michigan State. In her first head coaching position at Hofstra, Coach Legette earned conference Coach of the Year honors during the 2003-04 season.

Before arriving in Bloomington, Felisha served on two USA basketball Gold Medal winning coaching staffs. She was named the eighth head women’s basketball coach at Indiana University on April 19, 2006, and led the Hoosiers to a season opening 7-1 mark, the best start since the 2000-01 squad led off that year with a 7-0 record. During the Legette-Jack era the Hoosiers have qualified for two post season tournaments.


Rick Majerus

Head Coach, St. Louis University

Rick MajerusAfter coaching stints with Marquette, the NBA Milwaukee Bucks, Ball State, and Utah, Rick is currently head man at St. Louis University, he previously served as an ESPN and CBS basketball analyst. in 32 years on the bench as a head coach or assistant coach, he’s been part of 734 wins, 27 post season appearances, three NCAA Final Fours slots, a NIT semi-finalist and one national championship. He joined St. Louis University this year as head coach to rejuvenate the program.


Brad Stevens

Head Coach, Butler University

Brad StevensBrad is a Zionsville High School graduate and has a B. A. degree in Economics from DePauw University where he was a four year member and captain of the Basketball team.

He left a position as a marketing associate at Eli Lilly to pursue a career in basketball coaching. He served as a volunteer at the Carmel High School before becoming a Volunteer on Thad Matta's staff at Butler University in the fall of 2000. He also served as Coordinator of Basketball Operations and for six seasons was an Assistant on Todd Lickliter’s staff. Three days after Lickliter was named head coach at the University of Iowa, Coach Stevens became the third consecutive former Butler Assistant to be named Head Coach.

In his first season as Headman, Coach Stevens led the Bulldogs to a 29-3 regular season record, a #12 National Ranking and a regular season and tournament Horizon League Championship. Coach Stevens will speak about “How to utilize the undersized player”.
