Indiana High School Basketball Record Books

The IBCA plans on producing two Record Books at the end of the 2026-27 season, the traditional 48th annual Boys’ Record Book that has been produced since 1980 and a second Girls’ Record Book.

The Indiana High School Basketball Record Books feature statistics on nearly every high school basketball program in the state of Indiana, 400-plus schools overall in each book.

Of course, the 2027 Record Books – for boys and girls – rely on the Head Coach submitting each team’s end-of-season information. Please look for an email from the IBCA with a link for that online submission form, then complete that information as soon as you can after your season concludes. Thank you for helping the IBCA preserve the accomplishments of Indiana high school basketball players and keeping this tradition growing.

The 2026 edition of the Boys’ Record Book was the second year that it was overseen by executive director Marty Johnson, associate executive director Tom Beach and assistant director Kristi Sigler, with assistance from Beth Winchell of Winchell Graphic Design.

The 2026 inaugural Girls’ Record Book was overseen by executive director Marty Johnson, associate executive director Tom Beach and assistant director Kristi Sigler, with graphic design assistance by Lindsay Secrest.

Information for both books was collected digitially, and both books were printed by Moeller Printing of Indianapolis with help from company owner Dave Moeller. Both books include a plethora of season information as well as historical information that includes 1,000-point Clubs, a Coaches Club, Indiana All-Star lists, Hall of Fame lists, etc.

For 2027, Johnson, Beach, Sigler and Winchell will combine to produce the Boys’ Record Book. And for 2027, Johnson, Beach, Sigler and Secrest will work to produce the second Girls’ Record Book.

To order a 2027 Record Book for boys or girls (at $15 per book, including shipping, click on this link: Record Book – IBCA

To obtain a back copy of the 2026 Boys’ Record book or the 2026 Girls’ Record Book, contact the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame at its museum in New Castle. Inquires can be emailed to info@hoopshall.com. The Hall of Fame has copies of both 2026 books available for sale.

The Hall of Fame also has on display a copy of every Record Book dating to 1980.
