Sixty of Indiana’s best 2009-2010 senior boys, as well as 60 of Indiana’s best senior girls’ high school players will be invited to participate in Hoosier Basketball’s 2010 Top 60 Workouts held in conjunction with the IHSAA and the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association.
The 29th annual Girls’ Top 60 Workout will be held on the campus of Marian University on the Westside of Indianapolis on Sunday, March 14, 2010.
The 23rd annual Boys’ Top 60 Workout will also take place at Marian University in Indianapolis on Saturday, April 11, 2010.
Both Top 60 Workouts will begin at 1:00 PM and will include two sessions – 1:00 PM-3:00 PM and 3:30 PM-5:30 PM.
The two workouts are coordinated by Hoosier Basketball publisher Garry Donna. State championship coach Rick Risinger of Heritage Christian will serve as on-court director of the 2010 Girls’ Top 60 Workout, assisted by IBCA-member coaches. IBCA-member coaches will also be conducting the Boys’ Top 60 lead by on court director Larry Nicks of Indianapolis Arlington.
These workouts give the state’s outstanding seniors a chance to meet and compete as well as afford college coaches an opportunity to observe them against top quality competition.
While NOT a try-out for the Indiana All-Star team these events afford Indiana-Kentucky All-Star game director Charlie Hall and his Indiana All-Star coaches, both boys and girls, the opportunity to observe the state’s best senior players against each other.
